Students see it as a resource that isn't graded. Before you share, you see an estimate of the usage. See how it is used. You see counts and flagged messages. You never see transcripts. Tutors run on the same engine as Guided Learning: hints, quick checks, a recap and the same 90-day transcript expiry. Active tutors per creator: 2 for personal plans, 3 on Educator and 5 on Educator+. Each student gets 20 turns per tutor per day. A class of up to 30 shares 600 turns a month, plus 10 per extra student, up to 2,400. A teacher's tutor is paid for from the teacher's Educator meter, never the student's allowance. At a limit, students can carry on on their own device. Safety: the persona is checked when saved, a fixed safety layer sits ahead of every prompt, and unsafe or self-harm messages never reach the model. A self-harm message gets a supportive reply with local help information. Teachers see usage counts and flagged messages (category, time, and the message only after a click). Students' transcripts stay private to them. AI chat isn't available to accounts under 13, and for ages 13 to 17 it is available only when Cardvoo has switched it on.
Teachers on Educator and paid Standard or Pro users can build tutors. A student on any plan can use a tutor a teacher shared with their class.
