Open cardvoo.com in Safari, tap the Share button, then tap Add to Home Screen. Cardvoo then opens full screen like any other app. On iPhone, study reminders only work in the installed app, so install it if you want them.
Open cardvoo.com in Chrome and tap Install when it is offered, or open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. The Get the app page at cardvoo.com/get-app shows the steps for your device.
No. Cardvoo is a web app that you install from your browser, so there is nothing to download from a store and updates arrive automatically.
Open Settings, then Billing, and cancel there. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep paid access through the period you already paid for, then move to the Free plan. The current billing period is not refunded.
Standard monthly has an optional 7-day free trial, once per account. A card is required, you are not charged during the trial, and we email you 3 days before it ends. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged. Annual plans and Pro have no trial.
Stripe processes payments. Cardvoo never sees or stores your full card number. Current prices are on the Pricing page.
Every 5 reviews you rate Good or Easy earn 1 extra run. Again and Hard ratings do not count, and a card earns credit again only when it is next due. Cardvoo checks this on its servers, so it cannot be sped up by tapping through cards.
Free accounts get 1 baseline run a day per deck in Learn and Test, and mini-games have a daily cap of their own. Mini-game earnings unlock mini-game runs only, and review earnings unlock review runs only. Both reset on a rolling 24-hour window that starts from your first use each day, and unused earned runs do not carry over past it.
Standard and Pro have unlimited Learn, Test and mini-game runs, so there is nothing to earn. Work your teacher assigns in a class is never blocked by it either, so a Free student can always finish homework.
Ask anything answers questions from your own decks, notes and study guides and shows which passages it used. On the Free plan it runs on your device and sends nothing to the cloud. On Standard and Pro it can use a cloud AI model, with a soft cap of 40 cloud questions a day. At the cap you can keep asking on your device from the same sources. Chats are private to you, can be deleted any time, and are deleted automatically 90 days after the last message.
Teachers never see your questions or answers. They see only counts and common topics for the last 30 days. Each class sets a daily limit for its students (5, 10, 20 or 40 questions a day, 20 by default). A message about harming yourself is answered with a support message and never reaches an AI model.
A student can have up to 20 tutor turns per tutor each day. At the limit the tutor rests until tomorrow, and you can continue on your device.
An account for someone under 13 stays locked until a parent or guardian confirms. We email them a link that is valid for 72 hours, and they enter their own full legal name and tick a statement before the account turns on. If the link expires, the child can ask for a new one from the locked account. Under-13 accounts cannot join a class, use AI chat, or see ads.
Accounts under 18 cannot use public matchmaking in Recall Race, and only their username is shown on public decks and leaderboards. Friend-invite games still work. AI chat for ages 13 to 17 is available only when Cardvoo has switched it on for that age group, with stricter safety rules. Classes are for students 13 and over.
Go to Settings, then Account, and choose the data export. You get a zip of everything we keep about your account, including your decks, cards, notes, guides and Ask chats.
There is no delete button in Settings yet. Email support@cardvoo.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. Your account is deactivated right away, and your data is permanently purged after a 90-day backup period. The Data Deletion Policy has the details.
